Pros

Quinn is a great place to get experience in PR, especially if you’re interested in hospitality. Leadership is great and very involved and you get to work with and learn from very creative and strategic thinkers.

Cons

Team structures vary greatly depending on who your manager is

Pros

Quinn PR has some really great people. It's high-end/luxury accounts also make it desirable for anyone in PR. It's PR, so you're expected to work late and on weekends when needed. But, they do have good benefits and I started with 18 PTO days. You're also off every holiday, the week between Xmas and New Year's and get summer Friday's off.

Cons

Quinn PR also has some not-so-great people. There are four offices and I was based out of Miami. The job is remote, but they want you to live in the area for when events happen, which was rare for me. I was expected to live in Miami off 45k. The Miami office is also very stereotypical. I felt my peers were disingenuous and performative. This was unfortunate because I loved connecting with people from other offices. I had two managers and the hierarchy overall wasn't very clear. I learned in my 6-month review, which occurred on my 9-month anniversary, that I was supposed to be having bi-weekly developmental reviews with my managers. I didn't have ANY. I spoke with one manager regularly and the other I had never had a 1-on-1 with. HR is awesome and super supportive, but can't really do much. I also noticed about a ~20% turnover rate in my time with Quinn, but they have some employees who have been with them 10+ years. Overall, I think it could be great for someone already mid-senior level. Fresh grads and entry-level folks, proceed with caution and read your employee handbook!
