Pros

Pay, incentives and had some great coworkers.

Cons

They have no loyalty to you! I asked when I was hired. Is this just to get through a busy time and I was assured it wasn’t. I was assured it wasn’t and I could even “retire there”. So unless you need a stepping stone don’t! Very few they keep on long term. They had no positions you could move to and the severance pay was a joke!

Pros

Some talented individual contributors, Broad responsibility opportunities, Exposure to complex challenges, Fast‑paced environment, Occasional flexibility in work location, Chance to impact certain functions, Learning through difficult situations, Experience with regulatory issues, Cross‑functional visibility, Opportunities for problem‑solving.

Cons

My experience was defined by significant ethical and cultural concerns. Leadership behavior and decision‑making often lacked transparency and consistency, creating trust and alignment challenges across the organization. I observed pressure to support narratives that did not align with regulatory expectations or my professional standards, which raised serious governance issues. The culture frequently felt exclusionary and unsupportive of diverse voices, contributing to a toxic and unsustainable environment. For professionals who value integrity, accountability, and an inclusive workplace, this environment may be extremely difficult. Serious ethical concerns, Leadership lacked transparency, Pressure conflicting with standards, Exclusionary culture issues, Toxic and unstable environment, Frequent shifts in priorities, Governance and accountability gaps, Unsupportive of diverse voices, Misalignment with stated values, High demands with little support
