They’ll tell you that the hourly rate is low because you’ll make most of your money in piece rate. The truth is they reserve piece rate for elite employees, I.e. those who have been there for years, children/relatives of upper management, etc. they will treat like a work horse, and no matter how hard you work or how skilled you are, they will tell you the reason why you’re not getting the rate they promised from day one is your own fault. Join the company, ask around, find out for yourself…their turnaround rate is high because the only way to get people in the door is to dupe them
