While committed to changing the culture, senior people in the business have picked up on some keywords (such as agile) and are running with what they believe it to be, without research and committing to a top down transformation. Blame culture for problems that hit the customer starts before the problem has even been fixed. An attitude of expecting panic when problems occur reflects poorly on the people who fix problems while maintaining a calm and collected persona Overuse of contractors Below market rate salaries Reluctance to recruit for new roles despite teams being overworked. No sick pay - Despite company admitting that high stress levels are caused by current work environment Working from home frowned upon Promotions seem to be tied into appraisals. Which favour additional work done outside of core hours instead of doing your job well. Management put company needs above employee satisfaction, even when it isnt necessary to do so on little things (such as sick pay, salaries, promotion reviews)
