Pros

When I first started at Ray Allen there were a lot of pros but by the time I left most if not all of those were a thing of the past... the only pro that to my knowledge still exists for now is company paid health insurance and they have a ping pong table

Cons

I can only speak of the Chicago where a culture of pettiness and insecurity keeps employee morale low... Recent layoffs and cutting of policies like 401k matching should be considered when considering a position here... Company is run by an individual who lacks business sense and only runs this company because his father has an abundance of money... The amount of senior management in a company of this size is insane and middle to low level employees suffer due to the salaries of the senior management... business decisions do not seem to have any rhyme or reason and management seems to have almost no idea what they are doing... the Chicago office has been severely neglected for years as it sits half completed, meanwhile money is spent without care at every other office... I'd be surprised if RAI still existed in a year and that may even be optimistic

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Some of the pain points you reference are based on difficult decisions that were catalyzed by the impact of our significant global expansion over a very short period of time. After this intense period of growth, we took a step back and evaluated the investment we had made and actions that were now required to ensure continued success. Delaying the Chicago office renovation and temporarily suspending the 401K match were not easy decisions, but they had to be weighed against the ability to support sales and sustain development in immediate opportunities that would benefit all of our employees in the mid to long term. My team remains dedicated to actions that produce what must always be mutual benefits for our team members, clients, and stakeholders. As your feedback identifies, managing the cascade of information from our executive leadership team to our management team is an area that we have not mastered, though we strive for continual improvement and remain committed to maintaining a healthy organization on all levels. Thanks again for providing your feedback and the best of luck to you.

Pros

* Remote environment * Excellent Support from Peer-Level Colleagues

Cons

*The company lacks stability for employees, with frequent layoffs, voluntary departures, and terminations being common occurrences. * Upper management delegates their projects to you, micromanages every step, and then takes credit for your work. * Onboarding training is inadequate. Avoid joining Ray Allen in an entry-level position unless you are capable of self-teaching.
