RCAC is non-profit working with Native American and rural communities for over 40 years. They are a wonderful company doing excellent work. The employees are generally big hearted, engaged and excited about the future as we grow. Management really cares about retention, DEI and wellness. The pay is in line with other non-profit companies, plus the benefits are good. We have recruit from within policies and get opportunities for professional growth.
Cons
This exciting growth period brings along its challenges. Scaling operations quickly to keep up with growth can feel like flying while building the plane. However, work-life balance is a frequent topic of conversation with professional lunch and learn speakers, "safe space" (open door) policies and a lot of grace.
