Pros
- You get to work on some pretty cool projects with some big-name clients.
- The people they hire are pretty incredible, although the good ones don't typically last long.
- After leaving I did get some pretty good-paying freelance gigs from former clients I worked with there.
Cons
- Low pay and limited benefits for full-time employees.
- They will take on projects with budgets that don't fit the project and expect producers to get at minimum a 40% profit rate.
- They pay freelancers poorly.
- There is no support from Upper Management, you can tell them there is a problem with the project for weeks and they won't step in or provide any support until it's too late to actually fix anything.
- Managers have zero respect for your time, they can schedule a meeting with you for 9:00 am and they won't show up and won't respond to any messages for a few hours, often without a measly sorry.
- They'll have PAs doing the work of Producers but without the title or pay.
