Pros
At Retaildata you are given lists of items to collect at various retail locations. The lists open at a specified date and usually there you have a few days to complete it by. The flexibility of completing these lists is very nice. Being paid milage is another benefit. On top of an hourly rate, there is a piece rate for the proces you collect added to your paycheck too. My New York district manager is receptive to my needs and concerns so I feel comfortable with the assignments given to me.
Cons
Some lists/assignments I am asked to collect specific items with a given description, I find that item with the exact description, and the UPC doesnt match which is initially confusing. Another similar issue is the description appears incorrect for some UPCs on certain lists. For example, say I'm asked to find some brand's beef hot dogs 17oz size but I only can find it in a 16oz size however the UPC still matches. Its a little confusing. I will say though the lists come from the clients so I am not sure how much control Retaildata has over the lists themselves.
