Pros
- Very flexible work schedule: I was able to choose my own working hours and my boss was very understanding of my situation as a full-time student - Diverse tasks: I was rarely doing the same thing everyday (I was assigned with various tasks, including outreach, data management/organization, identifying prospects, video creation, etc.); although I was mainly a marketing intern, I got to work with different departments of the company - Supportive team members: everyone was so nice and supportive of my work; even when I made mistakes, they were patient and provided me with step-by-step guidelines - Work with managers: it was my first time working for a startup, and because I was working with the co-founder, I got to learn a lot more about how startups are managed/how they try to promote their products to others who are unfamiliar of them; if you're interested in companies' management/operations, this would be a great experience!
Cons
- Some work (ex. data organization) could be pretty manual/time-consuming, but they tried to teach me more efficient/faster ways to handle those tasks
