Pros

There are some great people there. Most of them seem like they are on their way out though. If they aren't they will probably get pushed out by CTO/CMO. The CFO should be promoted to CEO. She is the only one in the C-Suite that knows what direction the company should be moving and how to get it there.

Cons

I hope the new investors are reading these. I agree with other posts that the CTO/CRO (previously CMO) are running RMG into the ground. The CTO has an ego the size of the sun and thinks he is the only person doing anything good at RMG. He belittles his team and leads with fear based tactics by saying things like, "I don't think you're committed enough.", insinuating that working early AND late hours in the office is the one of the only ways he can determine that. When people leave, he dismisses their involvement in the business by basically saying they couldn't cut it. The CRO (previously CMO) is really only there because of his relationship with one of the investors. If anyone else would look at the sales results from the last year and just the operating performance of that team, they would let him go because its obvious that he is in over his head as a sales leader. The sales orgs issues start with leadership (or lack thereof). The sales team is so bogged down with things that are not leading to new contracts, that the decline in sales will only continue until this changes.

Pros

The RMG take over of Symon Communications has resulted in a lot of positive changes: * Investment in the business by hiring lots of new staff * Building a new briefing center and demo center to show off our products * Improved employee benefits And a general feeling for the way employees are encouraged to interact with new staff and shown appreciation with things like a new shinny office and break room to monthly happy hours to frequent communications from HR.

Cons

Growth expectations by executives may be too ambitious. Stated goals (to wall street) haven't been met and likely won't be for some time and the stock price has reflected this. RMG will either experience tremendous growth in 2014 and 2015 reaching new heights or go bust. The new office location means daily gridlock on the North Dallas Tollway, for 90% of the staff who aren't exactly happy about their new commute each day, coupled with insufficient parking doesn't make for a welcome trip to the office. Many employees went from individual offices to low walled cubes, so the privacy and quiet that our development staff had to focus on their jobs no longer exists.
