Pros
You'll never be short on hours.
Cons
Former owner CEO had a lack of forward vision that carried over into the venture capitalist-installed CEO that has zero experience as a CEO previously and zero experience in a technical industry. Knowledgeable employee suggestions are swept aside to cater to the accounting side of the business. HR is non-existent, communication with staff about expectations is inconsistent, management is toxic and rife with in-fighting. Training and career paths are non-existent. Benefits are sub-par, compensation has not kept up with the cost of living, and the CEO haggles over previously agreed upon compensation and seems to hope that the landslide of work will overwhelm employees' ability to fight for what they've already earned. Average time in the tech industry for employees is incredibly low and they refuse to hire for talent rather than the lowest expectations of pay. Co-workers feel more like a support group for survivors rather than a close team of skilled professionals. There are plenty of MSPs, there's nothing special about this one.
