Pros
FULLY REMOTE - The entire work experience is done online, so there is no need to do meet-ups or site checks. Since this company is still considered a startup, you will be exposed to many departments and you will wear many hats. That is an experience that I am glad to have because being knowledgeable in many aspects is a positive thing. But, it can also be a negative.
Cons
Being exposed to a lot of departments can be exhausting, but many say it is normal in a startup. What's not normal is every department is made of INTERNS. HR, web dev, creatives, you name it. Our only interaction with a real employee is with the CEO. We have direct supervision from him, but we do not have a sustainable and organized distribution of workloads among teams. Sometimes, the guidelines for tasks are not clear, therefore further delaying the completion of tasks due to repetitive revisions. Finally, the unreasonable deadlines. The CEO expects a quick turnaround of 1-2 days with each task, not taking into account the amount of preparation needed for a task, like designing websites. A high-fidelity wireframe doesn't take 1-2 days to finish.
