Pros
- Get to learn a variety of information on many merchandise (building materials, tools, electrical, plumbing, appliance) - Opportunity to talk to customers (if you're an extrovert and you like it). For immigrants, they can improve their communication skills
Cons
Long days of standing on your feet (we were not allowed to sit except during breaks) Tough schedule (typically 9am to 9pm, you'll have to be there either for opening or closing). Have to work on weekends Sometimes, depending on the store, a few colleagues can be toxic
