      High turnover, no career development - Market Researcher RONIN International Employee Review

      Pros

      The job is well paid for an entry level job requiring no experience. The job was easy to get - no proper interview. I was called by a recruiter on the Friday, had a training day on the Monday and started the job by Tuesday. So very good for a temporary job.

      Cons

      You sit on the phone cold-calling 8 hours a day trying to convince people to take part in surveys. It's exhausting and not rewarding at all. No social life at the workplace, people do their own thing and don't really socialise. There is also no career development.

      Pros

      Co-workers were extremely bright and the projects were most challenging. They have a fairly impressive client list and a global perspective. It's a good launching board for another job.

      Cons

      Not much chance of advancement. The position you're hired for is pretty much the position you will stay in. Employees do most of the work, but the principals take most of the credit. You're expected to grow the business, but your hands are tied.
