Pros
A lot of teacher support. Relatively good pay structure for teachers from $20-$35/hr and scheduling was very consistent. Upper management is also really on top of safety when it comes to all of their employees.
Cons
Culture is extremely Christian but not in a genuine way which led to some cliqueishness between the women that worked there. Was hard to fit in if you didn't have a home church or if you weren't familiar with Christian lingo. Things may have improved since then but direct management definitely was overbearing and very particular- pretty sure she had untreated OCD. Not her fault if that's the case but it really did make working there extremely disheartening and stressful. It didn't matter how much I grew the program - this manager was bound and determined to point out everything I did wrong and always had a catty comment to say. She also seemed to be very threatened when I would do well and would receive praise from upper management- as if it was somehow a competition. In meetings, she would literally thank everyone on her team except for me. Upper management was largely unaware of this issue because they were close to my direct manager and I didn't want to start drama within my department.
