Field Professional for 10 + years - Field Representative RP Field Services Employee Review

Pros

I've performed field services and inspections for the better part of the last 10 years. A year ago I began working with RP Field Services when they took over as my regional vendor in Texas. I've had no issues or problems during the transition and in the last 12 months of working with them. I work for 7 other companies, and RP is the only one that pays weekly and by direct deposit (which is way better than waiting on a promised check.) One time a few weeks ago there was an issue and my deposit didn't come thru, and Lori sent the money thru Moneygram instantly.

Cons

No cons, it is what it is. Knocking on doors of people and asking them to call the bank, or either do a financial worksheet with you and you call the bank. Pretty plain and simple.

Pros

Able to pick your coverage area, It is easy to get work.

Cons

Sometimes Distances to drive. If you love to drive this job is for you. I don't think this job will work out for someone that hates driving.

Pros

I have worked for multiple field service companies in the past 20 years and RP Field Services is one of the best places that I have worked. The girls in the office are always nice when I go over my manifest with them which makes my job easier. The compensation for the assignments vary depending on how many runs the job is and whether I accomplish the task that the job asks for which I feel is very fair. I only run assignments on a part time basis because I have a full time job. If I feel overwhelmed with the amount of assignments I have, I can give Beth a call in the office and she is quick to assist and help me. I normally bring home $100-$300 jobs a week depending on how many jobs I can take on throughout the week.

Cons

Like I previously stated, I can get overwhelmed at the amount of assignments that I am given during big drops such as BOA/Chase which can be a little frustrating depending on how busy we are at my fulltime job but Beth is very understanding and works with me well.
