Pros
Nothing good about this company. Not a single thing.
Cons
1. Everything is politics for the management and treats resources, not like humans or colleagues but mere cogs in the machinery of rs software. 2. They are racist and I cannot stress this matter enough and will always favours Bengali people over people from other states. During downsizing, they will remove all non-Bengali resources irrespective of their technical knowledge. Their current diversity speaks for itself more than 90% of employees are Bengalis. Even during scrum meetings, team meeting or even during KT sessions they use their local language Bengali rendering the very purpose of such a meeting or KT session moot. 3. No proper compensation, variable pay is always 2-3 months delayed. 4. They will hire in bulk when there is work and without proper compensation or notice they will randomly fire people or de-allocate them to the bench. 5. There is no appreciation from managers or Team leads for good work, no team outing , no bonus , nothing. They play politics over who will get their variable pay and who won't. There is no transparency in the performance-review system. If your good at licking boots of your higher-ups you will get a good review and if you don't lick your manager's boots then sadly your review is doomed.Being actually good or bad at your work has nothing to do with your review. It's all a closed-door politics, focused at favouring the one who licked the higher-up's boot more. 6. you cannot take leaves even if you are sick and have plenty of leaves available. They expect even sick leaves to be pre-notified. They will just reprimand you for taking leaves and reject your leave requests ultimately you will be marked leave without pay. 7. Rs software is not worth a company working for. It is highly unstable and there is no job guarantee. Growth will be minimal, they will not provide an opportunity for personal growth. Even if you join this organization, you will end up being tortured daily, as the management will continuously blackmail you if you don't stay late My advice to fellow peers who are thinking of joining RS Software, PLEASE DON'T even if you have the offer letter from RS Software don't join.
