Pros

-Generous financial compensation for use of personal vehicle. -Company provides all necessary tools, transportation, hotel and meal compensation when within guidelines. -Field Managers are often understanding of jobs difficulties and easy to work with. -Hands off management allows the FSE to establish their own schedule

Cons

-Understaffing leads to long hours and overworking employees -Service Engineer is on call 24/7, limiting personal time -Service Engineer is individually responsible for organizing the preventitive maintenance of all appointed sites, personally ordering and returning all necessary parts, and providing emergency repairs when contracted machines go down. The combination of these responsibilities require that the engineer have advanced organization skills because they will often be working alone.

Pros

Connected to a large number of healthcare and high tech companies. Opportunities to work with people across the US and other countries. Skilled core staff with decades of experience.

Cons

Field Engineer to Supply Chain staff was unbalanced for the demands required. Scope and scale of responsibilities for associate level positions was far too broad.
