Pros

The company provides a great salary and benefits. There are some nice people. The building is in a great location.

Cons

The company has a very tense atmosphere. You always feel like you're being watched. Humorless upper management that does not interact with the peons.

Pros

Great pay, rich benefits, generous matching gift program and good PTO bank.

Cons

I worked at RSUI in the HR department, and while there were learning opportunities, the experience was overshadowed by several systemic issues. The work-life balance was non-existent, with unrealistic expectations and a culture of overwork. There were some internal department policies that were verbal rather than written, leading to confusion, inconsistencies, and a lack of trust in management. HR Management practices were problematic. Micromanagement led to bottlenecks and delays, which were then attributed to employees. Socializing with coworkers, even outside of work, was discouraged, undermining morale and team cohesion. Additionally, HR management’s tendency to take things personally created a tense environment where employees were reluctant to share concerns. Company policies were inconsistently applied by HR, with exceptions often made based on personal opinions of employees. Several employees, including myself, experienced dismissive behavior and, at times, bullying from management. This behavior created a hostile work environment and made it difficult to maintain a healthy level of professional engagement. Internal communications were occasionally emotionally charged, further adding to an already stressful atmosphere.
