Pros
Not to be ungracious, but I can't really think of anything good to say. I worked in the Pasadena office in the early days and while the staff and management were generally pleasant to work with, ineffective people were promoted to key positions with disastrous results.
Cons
Many bad hiring decisions. Ineffective leadership. Serious organizational issues. Company culture was often adversarial, pitting one office against another, individual against individual. I called it a culture of blame and devoid of any personal responsibility.
Threatening and hostile work environment. The co-CEO and later only CEO, Peter Stevenson, who was more an operations guy and sales guy, lacked the leadership skills to motivate and inspire people, instead he intimidated people with threats of termination. While a moderately gifted orator, he lacked the ability to engage with people on a one on one basis and strangely had a hard time looking you in the eye.
