Pros
Raytheon has a vast selection of product offerings and strives to operate at the highest levels of ethical/commercial compliance. Salaries are at competitive levels as well as benefits. My experience has been that there are many opportunities for advancement and staff are encouraged to move across roles/disciplines when one exhibits interest and ability.
Cons
As with most corporate organizations, decision making is very distributed across a complex management structure leading to very slow changes in business approaches. This company is well suited to executing large government programs as opposed to working in the commercial domain which requires a more competitive and agile approach.
