Pros

Motivating speeches from CEO Competitive starting pay to offset horrible workload Tremendously dedicated staff (the ones who decided to stick it out) Rapid skill building likely above your banking experience

Cons

Executive team with little true scope of workload Total lack of organization Rules and regulations made up on the fly Lapses in communication causing frequent negative member experiences Aggressive loan pushing causing typical service level work to be put to the side

Pros

Great leadership there and very fair pay. Lots of opportunities for training and growth. Enjoyed my time there

Cons

Can be fast paced and sometimes demanding since it’s a small company. But they are very appreciative of staff

Pros

Diverse environment They have a great mission..I love their goals and what they do for the community and underprivileged.

Cons

Disorganized. This credit union has a HIGH turnover rate and you’d understand once you walk in..you don’t even have to work there to see. The members that come in always comment on how it’s always someone new there so they can’t get to know anyone really lol. The training for this role is little to none. They expect for you to just wing it and excel. It’s a small credit union so you have to wear multiple hats, but the pay doesn’t match it. The practices are outdated, and slow. Most of the people there don’t want to be there and are planning their exit.
