Pros

I've been working here since SDL was in place and before RWS acquired it. I had a wonderful manager and a great team where we always thrived, supported each other and we were appreciated. I had the chance to work with great skilled people that had a lot of knowledge of the products that were developed. Company offers remote working, good local benefits Some great people to work with that will help and ease the journey

Cons

Since the RWS acquisition, this company has gone into a rabbit hole. the latest CEO brought in his pals from Google that do not understand the translation industry. they all put a lot of pressure on the people that used to sell technology to train account managers coming from the non tech side, no one knows what the other is doing. if employees don't agree with their "strategy" they are laid off. Current management is abusive, laying off valuable people just to cut costs and not replacing them. none of them are listening to the employees that have been here for many years that have experience. if you ask for a raise or a job title change you are mocked and ignored. it is getting worse and worse and it is a pity of what this company is turning into. No salary increases for the past 2-3 years. they've spent thousands of GBP for their SKO back in 2025 and still did not include all teams to get to know each other. disappointing and simply sad

Pros

Excellent place to gain hands-on experience with AI/ML training data workflows. The project guidelines are very clear and structured.

Cons

The work is highly repetitive and sitting for long hours requires deep focus. Deadlines are tight with strict weekly accuracy quotas.

Pros

Good benefits, which is worth a lot in this day and age.

Cons

Hourly rate was not the highest, but at least competitive.
