Pros

RX is a good place for junior employees to learn and grow for a short period with some fantastic people, but many long tenure employees have left recently.

Cons

I would have recommended joining RX prior to the pandemic, but with staff cuts and perks being taken away, I no longer would. The senior leadership is old-fashioned and overly focused on office presence. The HR department is inept at communication and lack empathy. Some teams do not receive bonuses for no clear reason. There is a lot of internal promotion of supporting mental health, diversity, and inclusion, however, leadership fail to provide actual support when employees need it. I have seen situations where employee wellbeing has deteriorated due to mishandled circumstances.

Pros

The hybrid work model, I guess?

Cons

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
