Pros
Young scientists are mentored in writing proposals to fund their research. In the mean time, there are lots of interesting projects to work on. Software developers use the latest technologies and everything is open source, so the world (and future employers) can see your capabilities. There is good camaraderie among the staff. Boulder is a great place to live.
Cons
As with any consulting company, there is pressure to deliver and no guaranty of what will happen in 6 months or a year. However, the company has been growing every year since it was founded in 2013.
