Pros
I cannot stress enough how amazing this company is to work for. I've never been able to honestly say that I enjoy, respect, and appreciate my manager, franchise owners, and HQ until now. They GENUINELY care about their staff as much as they do about getting guests through the doors. The environment is very positive and motivating. The wax is incredible, their technique WORKS, and the feedback we've received makes me proud to work for LBX. It is a feelgood environment by far.
Cons
This is not so much a con as it is the way of the job, but I don't want to leave a box empty. Waxing is physically demanding, hands down. Speed-waxing (which is the service we proudly provide) can be hard on the Waxologist's body. Keep that in mind when considering this job, no matter which company you work for. It's very important to take care of yourself by being mindful of your body mechanics while performing services. Fortunately, we are able to control our books by taking breaks when needed, but be prepared to work hard because this isn't a leisure job. You must be on your A-game at all times. It's not a place where you clock in, wax, and clock out. You have many responsibilities and must be able to multitask.
