Pros

I met some great human beings at Radicle (none of which are still there due to multiple layoffs each and every year).

Cons

They are 'mission driven' but the products they offer are so poorly built they are only a hindrance to the people who have to use them in the field - the people who are actually doing the mission driven work (aka the company is money driven and doesn't actually care about the products they put out there).

Pros

Every time a friend or family member asks me how work is going, I have the privilege of tell them I love it. Every day, I am surrounded by employees who care and want to make the world a better place. I say "surrounded", and I mean it. Being a fully remote company doesn't mean that I'm isolated. I feel like I am in an office with my coworkers all the time while sitting at home. It's great. The culture is uplifting. The management actually listens when you complete Employee Opinion Surveys. That is RARE. In the time I have been here, I have seen so much collaboration and growth, and I am excited to continue my work here.

Cons

Not applicable. I have no complaints from working at Radicle Health.

Pros

5 years ago it was a great place to work. I was amazed at the caliber of employees and the care and attention given to the customer. Four day work week, unlimited PTO, good work life balance and great leadership.

Cons

Private equity decided they were not extracting enough wealth fast enough and things turned south almost overnight. The best employees left quickly in an exodus that started with the very top - they knew what was coming. The rest have been jumping ship as quickly as possible and a good amount with no other jobs lined up. Leadership is toxic and has open contempt for employees and customers. They can't keep that contempt from showing on their faces and in their voices in meetings. Four day work week is gone and we expect unlimited PTO to go next. Already folks are overworked where some are working 60-70 hours. Others are refusing to work more than 40, but also with the expectation that they will be next to be fired. Even before the panic, it was clear that ASG (private equity company that owns Radicle Health) had no understanding of the products nor the customers and would often reverse course after sometimes years in a direction everyone with understanding knew was a bad idea from the beginning.
