Pros
I have grown so much while working with this company. I couldn't ask for a better opportunity to expand my skills and grow my portfolio. i'm positive their wasn't a better place for me. If I want to learn something specific, I am able to set aside time to learn that specific skill. If a project looks interesting to me, they try and let me contribute. They often seem to know my capabilities better than I do and often trust me more than I trust myself, which has allowed me to grow and appreciate the management. Besides the growth and day to day opportunities, they offer free snacks, free soda, lots of perks and swag. Employees often play sports during lunch throughout the week. We also have summer Fridays! Every Friday is a half day. Sometimes we have little trips or fun things to do during that time off. Last year we went kayaking as a large group.
Cons
The merge with New York was initially a little rocky. There was a difference in culture between the two offices, not that it ever got bad, but there were noticeable differences. The management realized these frustrations and took a lot of time getting the opinions of employees and trying to remedy the situation. Which seems to have worked. I've seen a lot of complaints about management, I feel like those are unfair. I feel like those that feel like management isn't very transparent are those that aren't communicating to them. I've never had a problem getting answers to any questions or concerns that I have.
