Pros

Working at Rain as a Customer Success Manager has been my favorite role I’ve had in my entire career. Leadership is supportive, approachable, and truly invested in your growth—not just your performance, but your career and personal development as well. The team is smart, collaborative, and genuinely fun to work with. Despite being remote, the team does a great job creating connection through open conversation and thoughtful meetings that actually bring people together. Providing earned wage access is meaningful work, and we can see the real impact it has on customers every day.

Cons

None that I can think of

Pros

I love it here, overall I'm thrilled with the work that we do and the support that I have from my peers.

Cons

In a new industry, it can be challenging to educate customers on the need of earned wage access but this just means that there's a lot of whitespace

Thank you for the fantastic review! We are so glad to hear you feel supported by your peers and are thrilled with the work being done here at Rain. We absolutely agree that educating the market on the power of Earned Wage Access (EWA) is a big challenge—and a big opportunity. We view this whitespace as a chance for us to define the future of the industry, and it takes dedicated team members like you to help us do it. We're grateful to have you on the team!

Pros

Their product focus for the earned wage access space is decent and provides a reliable model that works well with payroll departments, and they intend to scale with better financial assistance tools for employees

Cons

They have terminated employees without cause and have faced lawsuits for wrongful termination. There are often no explanations provided, just selfish decisions. Leadership frequently changes, and they tend to overpromise while underdelivering. If anyone questions their approach or the way they market their products, they are instructed to stick to the company line and refrain from raising concerns. As a result, there is a lot of dysfunction, which contributes to high employee turnover.
