Pros
- Slower work pace--few teams regularly work beyond normal hours - Kind group of folks from diverse backgrounds (countries, experiences, races) - Good employee development benefits for a large company
Cons
- Poor compensation for most major metropolitan areas - Fairly poor 401k matching program - Very bureaucratic - Japanese corporate culture is not completely dominant, but has a significant presence (this is often a con for those used to American tech jobs) - Increasingly strong privacy laws and changing technology threatens existence
