Nice community atmosphere. Everyone is friendly.

Compensation a little lower than other private schools.

Ramaz has an amazing community with welcoming staff and families.

Students have behavioral issues, some bordering on severe, and the admin did little to help their teachers. When teachers tried to adhere to the school's own consequence system, they were reprimanded. I witnessed so many amazing teachers being canned over the two years I was here, all of them beloved by the students. One of the teachers was so distraught over how they fired him that he had a nervous breakdown. He gave every ounce of himself. I've seen the admin take the word of two spiteful outside paraprofessionals, one accusing a veteran kindergarten teacher of being an alcoholic. She left teaching after that. They threw their best Judaic studies teacher to the curb, another 10-year veteran, after some boys roughhoused in after-school football.
