Good friendly atmosphere. Most of your colleagues would soon become your life long friends. Great place to learn stuff you wish even if not in your job description. People are always willing to help and teach. Salary is satisfactory level for new joiners in management levels If you're smart enough overtake a suppressive middle management and reach out to senior management, you will be treated a star with good opportunities and hikes. Work from home and transfers to other locations or to new teams etc will be provided if you need. They will try to retain you maximum. Freshly made Tea, coffee, milk, black tea or coffee will be provided at your floor twice a day for free at your floor. Canteen is average but cafeteria is good albeit a little on the expensive side. Lot of restaurants, cafes, shopping centers and a theatre within 2 km of office since its inside the city.
Cons
Salary may not be good in non management levels (software developer and other technical) Hikes depend on how much you butter your boss and his/her boss. It's common for some people to work hard but get no hikes for 2 years whereas some people got hikes twice in 1 year. Work life balance is not that great. Most middle level managers look at hours spent in office rather than quality and quantity of work completed. They're happy to see you sitting late night and chatting rather than seeing an early completion report. Cut off time for entry in the morning. No cut off time for exit. Mandatory minimum 9.45 hours required daily No big budget team outings etc. Team celebrations like birthdays etc happen out of our own pockets with mandatory contribution from everyone. Women employees will not be taken seriously. It's always "oh she'll get married soon and leave" or "she'll get pregnant and leave" or "she has children and no elders at home so she's not concentrating on work". If you're dedicated then you're too aggressive. They will not hesitate to tell you these unprofessional comments as excuse for not giving hike!! If layoffs are on the cards, pregnant women will be 1st to go. If you're a single woman, be assured to get lot of attention and gossip on your love life from all quarters because apart from work these people spend time looking at girls, their friends, clothes, family background etc. No company transport. AC will be switched off between 6.30pm to 8.30 am on working days and fully on weekends. Pedestal fans are provided so that you don't puke from the stale air.
