Pros
Gave a good background into Human Resources. Met some great people, both clients and other agents that I'm still freinds with today.
Cons
The agent team set-up created hostility and back stabbing between coworkers. If one agent was doing well, the other agent was able to slack off and ride the coat tails of their partner. There was no flexibility given in the amount of cold call sales for any given week. IF you had 100 open positions that needed to be filled for, you were still expected to make your cold call and visit quota, instead of being allowed to balance your time and fill actual orders you had in front of you. Because district and area managers were not located at our office, direct managers were able to get away with a lot of inappropriate behavior. Once senior management was given the information, direct managers were replaced, but the behavior had gone on for far too long.
