Pros
The pros of working for a staffing agency or Randstad in this matter would be the weekly paychecks. If you need to pay off bills in a timely manner, then this would work for you. My starting pay was probably higher than most because of my degree, but other than that, everything else pales in comparison. However, my colleagues were great to work with, although things kept changing, I couldn't quite keep up with the changes that led me to decide that this type of work wasn't fit for me.
Cons
If you enjoy working as many hours as a restaurant entrepreneur does, receive the same amount of pay each hour, and possibly are yelled at (not written up, but demoralized in front of your colleagues) then this job is for you! Promotions were not hard to come by as I seen some people rise up in ranks in a matter of a couple of years. They tend to promote from within, reminiscent of Nordstrom's career path, yet there is no leadership training which could improve the morale of the employees. I would only recommend this company to those who don't require any leaders to motivate them and are just hungry to survive on a weekly paycheck.
