Pros

The company gives the outward appearance of being a great place to work by having events like monthly "birthday/anniversary" celebrations and offering free healthy food for the employees to snack on.

Cons

Some legacy employees, from prior to the buyout by Rock Ventures (Dan Gilbert), ended up in positions for which they are not qualified. At least that was the case when I left the company. The management between departments is inconsistent.

Pros

RapidAdvance has an awesome working environment and a great culture. The company is big on food and It is a true work hard play hard environment. Offering frequent company events, company/department happy hours, catered lunches, a ping pong table, foosball table, and last but, not least a "WHISKEY ROOM". It's definitely a place where can come in work hard but, also enjoy yourself. The company is truly invested in identifying and hiring the best possible talent out there. The level of talent and intelligence currently at RapidAdvance is high. The open environment is perfect for promoting teamwork and the flow of knowledge. Not only that but, the talent is accompanied with great personalities, boosting the positive outlook on culture. Everyone here at Rapid makes you feel at home. Management makes a point to communicate openly and clearly about company goals which is great for keeping all team members informed with where the company is heading now and where is it expecting to be in the future. Rapid is definitely growing and ever changing so, you have to open to change and adaptable if you want to succeed here. In short, RapidAdvance is a growing company with a start up feel.

Cons

Parking in Bethesda is not free. On average, you are looking at $140 a month just for parking. However, RapidAdvance is all about making it as comfortable as possible for its employees so they offer a commuter allowance that covers virtually all of my parking expense on a monthly basis.
