Pros
There are lots of training and development opportunities and you do genuinely learn something new every day. The team encourages self-development and you are allowed time during work hours to focus on this. Ambitious and driven team with high standards. Opportunities to take on responsibility and accelerate your development. If you’re driven, want to push yourself professionally and gain experience quickly, it can be a really good place to do that.
Cons
Intense hustle culture which isn’t for everyone but they’re open about that. One-to-one meetings would sometimes move beyond work-related development and into discussions about personal life. While I believe this came from a good place, in hindsight I didn’t find it productive and at times found it mentally draining. The business has a strong culture of feedback and accountability, which can be really valuable. However, feedback could sometimes feel one-sided, with limited opportunity to provide context or share an alternative perspective, which made things feel unfair and created a difficult atmosphere. Salary and bonus packages are below market rate compared with similar roles.
