Pros

Hourly position, a lot of potential to earn a lot of money, due to extensive travel and customer site driven work. Opportunities to travel the world At least when I worked for them, Two bonuses a year based on success of the company in the year.

Cons

Extensive time away from family and friends, Sometimes high expectations that can feel unachievable. Due to being in a position of constantly travelling, at times it could feel like you were isolated and overlooked, aside from when not meeting expectations. When looking for opportunities to move upward or forward in a career path, felt obstructed without actual clear reasons or explanations.

Pros

Great co-workers Flexible schedule Work/life balance Hybrid and Work from home options

Cons

Whisper down the alley - for example if there's an issue, people (management) cannot communicate a direct problem unless the supervisor is first informed, then that supervisor goes to another supervisor, who then relays the issue to a person that can actually fix an issue, meanwhile supervisor gets the praise for fixing an issue. Long standing employees receive little promotions. Newer employees allowed to climb the ladder. Upper management is a buddy club. If you're not their buddy, you don't fit in. No defined career paths or directions for advancement. They'll hire a person to make them diversified instead of hiring the right person.
