Pros

Good exposure, challenging work, seemingly nice colleagues.

Cons

In the time I was there, several people came and went, people were laid off. IMPORTANT NOTE - Company policy states no references provided after you leave, even if you are laid off.

Pros

"Rigorously lean digital marketing" sounds like ... well ... marketing ... but they mean it. No dead bodies on the project roster, none of the unfortunately common cutthroat political agency BS, no 'bill the client for all your hours whether you work them or not'. Instead your boss is likely say stuff like "We'd prefer to over-deliver so don't worry about whether it's in scope" when you ask about doing an extra piece of work to help a client. Similarly there is an expressed corporate value that you have to respectfully speak up if you think a client is making a poor decision, and explain your position. It's more about making the customer successful rather than just trying to keep them happy and writing checks. This makes the work environment both creatively stimulating and lacking in cynicism. Smart people with ambition to do smart work and treat each other well.

Cons

Maybe it's a North Beach Mafia front?! Haven't found any significant negatives yet. Yes, parking is a problem. It's a small company at present so there isn't a ton of infrastructure, so if you prefer the routine or creature comforts of a bigger company (private office, company swag, formal HR dept) this wouldn't be a good match.
