Pros
Good salary and interesting clients, supportive line manager, can easily work fully remote if you want to
Cons
No real sense of team because of remote working and no budget/effort for getting teams together, high workload and poor work life balance (often working beyond 6 and no real chance to take time off in lieu because of how much work needs to be done), reputation for being ‘flexible’ means poor boundaries with clients and inefficient work scheduling, no proper structures in place for holiday cover (work has often built up and is waiting for me to pick up when I get back), certain level of micromanagement from some senior writers, confusing company structure which is never properly explained
