An awesome team tacking a great issue – democratizing access to private funds. They've got a really-engaged team with everyone from the bottom to the top getting their hands dirty and most importantly getting the respect of team members and clients.

Everyone is super-engaged, so there's nowhere to hide and that translates into a very tight culture of accountability.

The technology is good and the firm previously grew quickly to over $77B in assets. The team and culture were very good under the previous CEO and previous management team who did a good job of driving the business and leading with integrity.

The firm's new ownership and management are dishonest and they have not maintained or provided appropriate funding for the business. The new owner has hired a new CEO who hasn't been effective or responsive to the needs of the clients or the team. It is important to note that commitments for payroll and benefits are no longer being honored. Morale is low and clients and employees are disillusioned. A sad situation for a once very-promising business.
