Pros

One manager is awesome. Your team is top notch and will do amazing things if ever given the opportunity.

Cons

Micromanagement, insane KPIs, lies from leadership in order to consistently PIP out employees they decide they don’t like as people (whether you hit/ pass your metrics doesn’t matter - if you don’t tell them they’re cool, you’re done,) zero training or support even *almost especially* when asked for guidance, scheduled and timed bathroom breaks, if you have a legitimate emergency outside of work such as your home or vehicle being destroyed, losing one or several family members, you’re hospitalized etc… if this causes you to miss more than two work days, you can expect to come back to either a final written warning for attendance or termination. You can expect being called out and documented on a whiteboard at the front of the room for every time you sneeze. PIPs are handed out like candy - you’ll be expected to fulfill your end of things to resolve the PIP but they will zero percent - even when asked and reminded - do anything to do their part.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your experience with us. We have heard feedback that our sales onboarding training hasn't been ideal and have recently completed an entirely brand new training program for all new reps. Although PIP's are never fun, they are designed to provide guidance, coaching and regular check-ins with managers in order to work together to improve performance of an individual. All PIP's are monitored, approved and administrated by HR. Managers are required to provide sufficient evidence of low performance that would warrant a PIP and clearly outline and document their action plan that directly involves the employee. We are proud of our generous PTO policy. We do have a few stipulations on how quickly you can take time off after you start and usually require a weeks notice before taking more than 2-3 days off - but this does vary by team and definitely does not apply to hospitalizations. We're sorry to hear that you didn't think you could take off as needed. Again, thank you for your feedback and sharing your experience and perception.

Pros

Look this is a sales role. There's no question about it. If you're great you'll make 250k. If you're good you'll make 150k. If you just want to show up and only make 80k a year you can do that too... If you suck then that's okay but RealWork has a process that works so pretty much anyone can come in and hit the ground running. Environment is fun. If you're doing your job no ones breathing down your neck and everyone gets along just fine. If you're interested in performing and being able to grab a coffee and talk about your day for a moment then do that. What more do you want from a Job?

Cons

If you want to make more than 250k then I dont have an answer for you as to how that will be possible. Other than its a startup and they want to continue to grow the company so fingers crossed.

Pros

This honestly is a really nice place to work. The company is growing fast. The actual tech is great. The founders are actively involved in the day to day business. They're also incredibly motivating people and driven to succeed. Its the kind of place where you'll know the founders are 110% invested every day. The company has built a very strong management layer who are good teachers and effective communicators. I genuinely enjoyed interacting and learning from both of the managers I worked with. They're both kind but honest. Skilled but patient. You have to be very driven to succeed here but if you're willing to work hard and be coachable you will. The top performers at the company are doing very well and there is full transparency about what it takes to succeed. I would have worked here so much longer as I was enjoying coming to work. It just wasn't in the cards this time. I wish the company and my former colleagues nothing but the best. Its a very talented sales floor from employees to management.

Cons

This isn't so much a con but just more of a reality of the business. RealWork is very focused on SMB sales and fast cycles. So if your experience is more aligned with multi threading accounts or longer sales cycles you may find it tougher to adapt.
