Pros

Some talented people on the team

Cons

Leadership at the top is a major concern. The CEO often appears driven more by personal preferences than by the needs of a well-run business, and this has had a noticeable negative impact on the company’s direction and effectiveness

Pros

Very talented bunch of people here - more so than the vast majority of places. They can do with 10 people what a lot places would need 50 for. High grade work being pumped out all the time - they have high standards for finish and it shows. Some great people there you can have a good laugh with (you'll need to sometimes trust me!). Wide variety of projects to work on - CG trailers, TV, VFX, video games.

Cons

The studio is wedged between a donkey pit and the owner's gaff. In that well known town of Westby. Top management (CEO) could really screw in on small details unnecessarily like very inconsequential costs, or micro managing other leads. Scanalous hours for some projects - agreeing to unrealistic projects and signing up all and sundry burns out some artists. Top management not always sharing info and takes on far too much. It exhaust them and leaves no room for delegation, allowing others to take on work in other areas to support (and help employees grow). So we get stretched leads/producers and stalled artists/devs. Too much politics sometimes.
