Pros

You have the flexibility to work at your own pace and design your own treatment plan.

Cons

You are only compensated for time spent in direct client sessions; tasks such as follow-ups, ITPs, and session documentation are not paid. By the second week, your schedule is expected to be full, with new clients potentially added with as little as one hour’s notice. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back, leaving little to no time between appointments to prepare or regroup. All documentation is due by the end of the day, but no additional time is allotted to complete it. Additionally, maintaining a cancellation rate above 20% may result in disciplinary action.
