The first-time founders lack experience but have plenty of hubris. The CEO is way too involved in the day-to-day operations of the company and has built a very low trust culture where it is difficult to succeed. As other reviews point out, it’s either the founder’s way or the highway. There is a lot of finger pointing between teams and constantly changing priorities that make it difficult to achieve anything. There is no sense of alignment and the culture of blame comes from the top down.
