Pros
Get in touch with the fashion industry even tho you dont have related experience
20 days of annual leave
Cons
No double pay
No medical insurance
Everyone in the team is overworked and underpaid
Directors playing favoritism at work, lowballing people on their salary, i still cant believe they paid people at 22k for a full time job with overwhelming workload and unrealistic expectation (and believe they keep doing that employing people at 22k or around similar price range). I was informed that last year the entire team is fighting for a salary raise. The option they had at the time is to choose between medical insurance and a salary raise. I am sure you have some idea on how tight they are on money.
The turnover rate of this company is high, many of my fellow colleagues didnt even last for half a year.
Directors being passive aggressive and micro-managing,making your job really tough because A. the concept of meeting deadline of a project seems not that important to her B. people also have to massage her ego while doing the job. C. I was constantly get yelled at whenever she thinks i did horribly regardless of the circumstance
Also, it is highly suspected on my end that project management is not exactly excellent. Newbie mistakes such as booking the wrong flights on the wrong time occur leading to funding problem. You can expect this kind of newbie mistakes happening often
