Pros

Some wonderful clients. The company is a relatively strong player in the B2B eCommerce space. Boundless potential in this burgeoning age of digital transformation/eCommerce. Nice office space with NYC views. Some very kind, well-intentioned, highly intelligent team members who give their all despite much internal turmoil/disconnect. It's a very difficult industry/space, and the company continues to inch forward despite many, many obstacles -- internal and external.

Cons

- uncoordinated, flaky hiring/interview process / dishonest representation of role/responsibilities - truly abysmal training/onboarding program... or lack thereof - disjointed, borderline adversarial internal culture between teams and departments - inconsistent access to internal resources, different units relying on different sources of data, lacking source of truth on client/customer data/info - unpleasant internal atmosphere, aura of negativity day in and day out, particularly in the client-facing depts, an almost combative climate - lack of adequate management. processes on top of processes, trying to be this façade of a mature organization, but little true support for both upper management and associates alike - insincere leadership / lacking a pulse on what it takes to motivate/retain talent - lousy pay for the industry, and based on expectations/workload. unreasonable comp structure - high turnover / people don't feel set up for success. makes it hard to develop internal cohesion with so many ppl moving in and out - excessive internal meetings that clog up days with hardly any benefit - lack of comradery, upside, wins to look forward to... feels terrible to be put in a position time and time again to disappoint clients through no fault of your own

Pros

Good exposure to lots of different eCommerce tools and technology Opportunity to do a lot of different projects

Cons

Management changes direction constantly. Management tells clients things that they don't tell you and you are left trying to pick u the pieces and find out what they said and promised that you are suddenly supposed to be doing.
