Pros

HR trying to improve company culture. Working with global teams.

Cons

This company changed drastically in a few short months after a change in CEO. There used to be heart and soul in the company, largely related to the previous CEO who was a leader, not a boss. It felt as if you were a part of a big family but overnight you felt replaceable and dispensable. It’s very click’y and often times feels like you’ll go nowhere if you’re not a part of the “crew.” There are also interrelationships within the company/leadership that creates a toxic environment due to not being able to navigate normal situations as you should. Always feeling like you’re walking on eggshells and have to watch what you say/do because it will be repeated makes for a very restricting and unhealthy environment. Upper leadership is aware of the scandals/environment but no changes are made. Instead those people are put on pedestals and continue to climb up the ladder at the expense of others. I used to be proud working for a UK based company because I felt the quality of people were better than what you find in the US, but I’ve never worked for a company with more drama and politics than this one.

Pros

- The product is actually a good product. - The base salary is adequate.

Cons

- The leadership is all show, and no substance. - Constantly changing direction to save money. - No investment into marketing. - Constant reorganizations with an end goal of saving money. - Due to many of the long time employees exiting the business, there is significant company brain drain. - You won't be trained in processes, you will have to figure them out. - Bonuses are often figured out last minute, are intentionally vague and hard to check, and the compensation rules can be changed after the fact to shrink bonuses already earned. This is intentional.
