Pros
The only pro is that you get paid relatively quickly, usually within 1–3 days after completing a shift.
Cons
I was unexpectedly fired from Reflex despite consistently positive feedback from employers. My profile and reviews highlighted that I’m approachable, dependable, customer-facing, a team player, and have strong communication skills. Yet I was terminated for allegedly “skipping flex details” and supposedly needing to improve “urgency,” with no warnings, no concrete examples and no credible explanation. A follow-up phone call with the team was rushed, unproductive, and unprofessional — they could not provide any evidence to justify the decision. Additionally, Reflex claims to let employees set their own schedule, but the reality is completely different. They barely post listings, and when they do, the majority of shifts are well over 10 miles from the location you input. This app and company are not convenient, not stable, and do not favor employees — they favor the retail companies outsourcing labor through them. You would get more stability and flexibility working at McDonald’s or any other minimum wage job. Don’t waste your time with this company.
