Pros

Fantastic team, an outstanding Chief Executive, and an inspiring mission. Lots of scope to make a tangible difference in reshaping policies for accelerating the energy transition. Regen strikes the right balance between mission-oriented work and high-value fee earning advisory, with opportunities to shape government policy and work with the key energy system players. Well respected name in the net zero / decarbonisation / energy industry.

Cons

Despite significant pay increases, pay lags competitors and clients. Still a relatively small organisation with power concentrated at top. Difficult if you don't fit in or hit ground running. Office in Exeter (pro or con depending on what you want). Similar to any organisation, it is not perfect.

Pros

There is no Pro to this company.

Cons

You will be micro-managed, bullied, degraded, individually penalised infront of the team, Have late pay, Overworked with no thank you. 1 mistake and you’ll be sent home early even if you’ve worked there for 4 days. There is clear favourites in the office and you will be made to feel less of them by management. They are Money driven and do not actually care about their employees and boast about the high turnover that they have.

Pros

You would enjoy working here if you like working under senior leadership that preaches about how the organization is a "family" and that there's a "flat hierarchy".

Cons

Toxic culture where poor management and poor mental health flourishes. Lip service about diversity, inclusion and mental health, which means nothing in practice. Career progression nonexistent except for those that pander to senior management. Most staff are overworked, undermined and micromanaged.
