Pros

The product is a market leader, and is essential to many CRE professionals daily work.

Cons

The company is sadly losing what has made it great. As sales have dropped off, due to market saturation, they have thrown an incomprehensible amount of money trying to transform the sales process. This is routinely discussed on quarterly analyst calls, and the results haven't met expectations. Unfortunately, these efforts have been less than successful, and have created unintended consequences with a mass exodus of sales talent leaving the company, either by choice, or termination. Morale is at an all time low, with those staff remaining racing for the exits as quickly as possible, as the damage created is irreparable.

Pros

Reis has a great work environment and beautiful projects.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about the company. They really stand out as a great company in the high-end residential construction industry.

Pros

Overall the benefits are pretty good, and the office has a generally relaxed atmosphere. The firm has recently been acquired by Moody's Analytics, it seems to me (this is my personal opinion based on many discussions with colleagues) that this is the only reason many people are staying on, people are hoping for an improvement but many have one foot out the door.

Cons

The pay is abysmal, and the benefits only help so much. Additionally, while there are some career advancement opportunities they are generally only for employees in the NYC office, the white plains office is generally treated as an afterthought. You can move from a survey role to an analyst role in White Plains, but that's about it. We've had three new HR heads in as many years, this is the same with the office manager.
